of the Ute Indian Tribe, is located to the north
of the ranches and comprises over 490,000 acres of pristine
Rocky Mountain beauty.
Its elevation ranges from 8,000 to over 14,000 feet.

hiking trails in the Weminuche.
One of the favorites begins at Williams Creek Reservoir near Pagosa Springs.
